Googleが求人情報検索サービスを日本でも公開！「Google しごと検索」

2019年1月23日、Googleの検索結果ページに求人情報が掲載される
「Google しごと検索（Google for Jobs）」のサービス開始が発表されました。
今回は、この「Google しごと検索（Google for Jobs）」についてご紹介します。
「Google しごと検索」とは
「Google しごと検索（Google for Jobs）」とは、Googleで「渋谷 求人」「本屋 アルバイト」「港区 正社員」などのキーワードで検索すると、Googleの検索結果内に求人情報が一覧で表示されるサービスです。
これは、米国で2017年6月20日にサービスを開始された「Google for Jobs」の日本版になります。
米国でのサービス開始から、約1年半遅れで日本での提供になりました。
このサービスは、PCとスマホの両方でサービスが展開されています。

Googleの検索結果に表示された求人情報で、ユーザーが気になる求人情報をクリック（タップ）すると、詳細な求人情報へアクセスすることができます。
さらに、ユーザーが個々のGoogleアカウントにログインしていければ、ブックマークボタンを押すことができ、気になる求人を「保存」しておくことができます。
こうすることで、Googleで仕事情報を検索し、気になる求人情報を「保存」しておけば、後でゆっくりと確認することも可能です。
また、アラート機能もあるため、「アラートをオン」にしておけば、自分が探している求人検索に関連する情報をメールで教えてくれる便利な使い方もあります。
「Google しごと検索」によって、登録している転職サイトやアルバイト情報サイトへアクセスする必要がなくなり、求人情報を探せるようになります。
「Google しごと検索」で、どんな求人情報があるの？
「Google しごと検索」には、実際にどんな求人情報が掲載されているのでしょうか。
これは、大きく3つに分けられます。
①自社サイトの求人情報を「Google しごと検索」に掲載されるように構造化マークアップする。
②「Google しごと検索」対応の採用管理システム（ATS）を利用する。
③「Google しごと検索」が提携している求人サイトに登録する。
①は、自社サイトの求人情報を「Google しごと検索」に掲載されるように情報を追加します。
Googleに対して、「Google しごと検索」に対応した求人情報です！と伝え、ロボットが判断をして掲載します。
この方法は、正しく情報を掲載しなければならい、タイミングによって掲載されない、掲載まで時間がかかるという場合があります。

②は、応募者が多い企業などで、応募者を管理する採用管理システム（ATS）を導入している企業があり、このシステムの中で「Google しごと検索」に対応しているものもあります。
採用管理システム（ATS）では、応募者の履歴書・職務経歴書の管理、面接の評価、進行状況、内定者への連絡状況などを管理することができます。
年間を通して、大量に採用している企業などでは、とても便利なシステムとなっています。
③は、「フロム・エー」や「エン・ジャパン」などの「Google しごと検索」が提携している求人サイトに掲載をすれば、検索結果に掲載されるようになります。
「Google しごと検索」が及ぼす影響について
まだまだサービスが開始されたばかりで、現時点では情報をまとめて表示させているために使い勝手が良いとは言えません。
Googleの検索で、「渋谷 パン屋 アルバイト 時給1000円」というような使い方がイメージできていないからです。
したがって、現時点では、求人サイトで希望する条件にチェックを入れて、検索をしたほうが精度の高い求人情報が表示されるかと思います。
求人情報の検索精度を高め、ユーザーの検索条件などに一致した仕事紹介などに今後期待ですね。

As of January 23rd, 2019, recruitment information will be displayed on Google search results pages. This marks the start of the 'Google for Jobs' service. So what kind of service is it?
By performing a search for keywords such as 'Shibuya recruitment,' 'book store part-time work' or 'Minato full-time job,' Google will now provide a summary of recruitment information in amongst your search results. This Japanese version of the 'Google for Jobs' service comes a year and a half after its original launch in the US on June 20th 2017. The service is offered on both PCs and smart phones.

Further recruitment details can be accessed simply by clicking on any job in the Google search results. If logged in to a Google account, job listings can also be bookmarked for future reference, so users can peruse them at their leisure. There is also an alert function that when turned on will send the user recruitment information by email. Thanks to Google for Jobs, it is now possible to search for jobs without the need to access various recruitment sites individually.
What information is available on Google for Jobs?
What job listings are actually available on Google for Jobs? They can largely be divided into three types.
① Structured data markup that means recruitment information from company websites feature in Google for Jobs.
② Google for Jobs uses ATS, a recruitment electronic handling system.
③ Registration to recruitment sites affiliated with Google for Jobs.
By the process as in ①, information is attached to recruitment information so that companies can get their listings to feature in Google for Jobs. Google is informed when a job listing suitable for the service, then robots are left to make judgements and include them in the results. This method requires information to be correct, so there can be times when it takes a long time for a job listing to appear or when it doesn't appear at all.

As mentioned in ②, ATS is a system that manages recruitment applicants. Companies that receive large amounts of applicants may also use ATS, and Google for Jobs may also be supported within that system. With the Applicant Tracking System, it is possible to manage applicant CVs and resumes, interview evaluations, progress, contact details of prospective employees, and so on. It's an incredibly convenient system for companies hiring large numbers of employees throughout the year. With ③, if job listings are posted to recruitment sites affiliated with Google for Jobs such as From A and En Japan, these entries will also feature in search resuts.
The impact of Google for Jobs
As the service is only just up and running, information has yet to be gathered and displayed, so it is not yet user friendly. The ability to run searches such as 'Shibuya bakery part-time
¥1000/hour' is not yet possible. Therefore, at the current time, it is best to input specific search criteria into recruitment websites directly in order to receive a higher accuracy of results. With time, the accuracy of recruitment information provided by Google for Jobs will improve, and it will be able to provide users with results attuned to their search criteria.
